When Sentir El ALTO TAJO was born, was with the idea of building positive ecotourism that is respectful of the environment, involves the locals and the heritage of the area, and leaves destinations better than they were found.

 Because we are mountain and nature guides, environmental educators, environmental and heritage interpreters, astronomical monitors, and qualified leisure monitors and directors. We are constantly learning and have many years of experience in the tourism sector and the natural, artistic, historical, and cultural heritage of our country.

 Because personalizing activities according to the group that will enjoy them is one of our pillars. We understand that everyone is different, and therefore we plan activities together with you, adapting them to the ages, characteristics, abilities, and preferences that you communicate to us.

Our goal is for you to fall in love with the Alto Tajo and all its wonders that we interpret during our activities, through stories, workshops, scents, tastes, sounds, and many more surprises.

 Our project has been recognized and awarded by the National Rural Network (DG for Rural Development, Innovation, and Agri-food Training of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food), and has been included in their promotion through publications and audiovisual pieces on YouTube and the RRN website as a guarantee of good entrepreneurship practices in the rural environment.

 In 2021, our project was awarded first place in the 1st Edition of the Guadalajara Women Entrepreneur Awards. 

In 2022, we received a special mention in the regional Environmental Awards of Castilla-La Mancha.

All our activities follow the premise of REGENERATIVE ECOTOURISM: ecotourism based on co-creation between the people of the territory and the visitors, which promotes sustainable travel and encourages leaving a positive impact on vacation destinations, making them better than they were found. 

This concept goes beyond the idea of “do no harm” and seeks the active regeneration and revitalization of the environment, producing positive results for local communities and economies: sustainable regeneration.
